Our collaboration with the Scott County Chamber of Commerce, Mountain Empire Community College, and Scott County Economic Development Authority is pivotal in driving community initiatives. Together, we aim to foster a thriving environment for local businesses and nurture future leaders who are committed to the prosperity of Scott County. This partnership enables us to provide resources and opportunities that empower individuals to make significant contributions to our community.

As part of the Scott County Horizons Leadership Program, participants are required to attend at least one public meeting during the course of the program. This experience provides valuable insight into local government processes, community decision-making, and the importance of civic participation. Attending a public meeting helps reinforce the program’s goal of developing informed, engaged leaders who are equipped to make a difference in Scott County.
