Program Participation FAQs
Find answers to common questions about joining and participating in the Scott County Leadership Program.
Who is eligible to apply for the program?
Residents of Scott County aged 18 and older who are interested in community development and leadership are encouraged to apply.
What are the program Requirements
To receive a certificate of completion, you can miss no more than two (2) classes in total, with no more than one “unexcused” absence.
The weekend retreat is mandatory for receiving a Certificate of Completion.
Attend at least one public civic meeting.
As an alumni, help with delivering the program to new participants the following year.
What types of projects do participants work on?
Participants develop community-based projects that focus on economic development, local business support, or community engagement initiatives. Project proposals are submitted for approval.
